Not broken — just a little...
Sophie:
Oxidative stress? That’s for people who are... stressed. You know, burned-out types, always in a rush. That’s not me.
Natalie:
Fair enough. But just out of interest — when was the last time you felt really rested?
Sophie:
Last weekend! I went for a 10K run, had a roast dinner, even snuck in a nap. I mean, sure, I was up till 1am bingeing a series, but I don’t feel “oxidatively stressed.”
Natalie:
It’s not always a feeling. It’s more like a slow drip. Tiny bits of wear and tear on your cells from just... living. Eating, breathing, even exercise produces free radicals.
Sophie:
Hang on — are you saying my workouts are damaging me? That’s rich. I drink green juice. I’ve even got a magnesium spray.
Natalie:
I love that. Honestly, those things do help. But think of it like this: your body's a brilliant self-cleaning machine — but even the best machine needs downtime, servicing, and the odd deep clean.
Sophie:
So now I need a service? What am I — a Volvo?
Natalie:
Well, I wasn’t going to say it, but since you mentioned it...
Sophie:
Seriously though, I don’t get colds, I eat well, I sleep okay, bar the odd late night. I’m not exactly falling apart.
Natalie:
You’re not. But let me ask — how’s your back after those runs? Still a bit tight? And didn’t you say your sister’s always tired even though she eats well and does yoga?
Sophie:
Yeah, but that’s different. She’s always rushing around, glued to her phone. And yeah... I suppose my lower back has been stiff lately. But that’s age, isn’t it?
Natalie:
Could be. Or it could be your body asking for a little help catching up. Oxidative stress builds slowly — but it shows up as brain fog, fatigue, slower recovery, stiffness. The kind of things we all brush off.
Sophie:
Right. So, I’m not broken — just a little... rusted?
Natalie:
Exactly. A little light polish now and then keeps the engine running beautifully. That’s what we do here. Gently reset the body so it can keep doing what it already does best.
Sophie:
Alright. But if you catch me meditating in a dry flotation tank listening to whale sounds, we’re having words.
Natalie:
Deal. But let’s start with something simple. Cryo or Red Light?
